Open Mic at the Linsmore Tavern with Host Phillip Vonesh, Every First Wednesday of the Month starting up May 4th!

Every First Wednesday of the month, beginning on Wednesday May 4th, the Linsmore Tavern will have an Open Mic with Host Phillip Vonesh! We have received so many requests over the years to have an all genre, Open Mic evening and finally we are bringing it in, every 1st Wednesday of the month! So all of you musicians out there, this is the new Open Jam in Toronto and it’s going to be so much fun! The sign up will start at 7pm, all genres are welcome!

Phillip Vonesh is a Toronto born singer / songwriter with a distinct roots and americana sound. His songwriting style evokes heartache and wanderlust with clever lyrics and shameless hooks. He is strongly influenced by the 60s folk revival and 70s outlaw country, add in some 80s pop and you have a songwriter who can borrow from any decade to create compelling contemporary songs that are as timeless as the ones for which they are influenced. Vonesh has two solo EPs; Cold Hands / Warm Heart (2020), exclusively on bandcamp and Lost Our Way (2019). Vonesh also fronts Indie-Americana band The Spare Parts; who released their debut album Infatuation  in June 2021
