It’s been more than 12 years since the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) has had a Taylor Swift Tribute band. Over the years, we have had many requests to bring in a Tribute to currently the most popular artist in the world and finally now we are bringing one in! Thursday November 19th, You Belong With Me – A Taylor Swift Tribute will be hitting our stage for an evening of Taylor Swift! Get ready to hear all of your favourite hits from this very authentic Tribute to Taylor Swift! The show starts at 8pm, tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
You Belong With Me is a high-energy Taylor Swift tribute built around powerful live vocals, rich harmonies, and a polished band sound. The band is led by Jessica Pike (artist name Tilsen), whose music has earned more than 20 million streams, she has opened for renowned artists including BANNERS, Shawn Hook, and Scott Helman, and her songwriting has been featured in film and television. The show is a joyful, full-band celebration made for Swifties to sing along to their favourite songs til the very last chorus of the night.

AMPLIFY Brings their high-energy show to the Linsmore Tavern

This is going to be a really fun night of live music right before Halloween! Thursday October 29th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) can’t wait to welcome to our stage for the very first time, AMPLIFY! Get ready to party and dance with this incredible high-energy band who will be playing some of the best anthems of alternative rock, pop rock from the 90’s and early 00s! This is a band you need to see, as this band is awesome! The show starts at 8pm, there’s no cover!

AMPLIFY is a high-energy Toronto three-piece featuring Brad on guitar, JP on keyboards, and OMI on rhythm guitar and vocals. Bringing together alternative rock, pop-rock, and classic favorites, the band delivers songs from Foo Fighters, Weezer, Green Day, Oasis, The Killers, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Radiohead, and more.

The Phantom Rebels with Special Guests Live at the Linsmore Tavern!

Thursday October 22nd, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is so excited to welcome to our stage for the very first time The Phantom Rebels! The Post Punk/Surf Rock Original band out of Oshawa is one of the country’s most unique and hottest acts! Music fans you definitely don’t want to miss this show! There will be an opening act to kick off the evening. The show starts at 8pm, there will be a $10 cover charge at the door!

The Phantom Rebels play loud, fast and angry, a deliberate antidote to
the state of the world. They aim to dazzle listeners with an
eclectic range of compositional styles, creating a stirring listening
experience.The Phantom Rebels self-titled debut EP is a
5-track assault on the senses, featuring tracks like “We Know Who You
Are” and “Manifest Destiny (The Republifucks Song)”.

Friday October 16th is going to be an EPIC night at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! We are bringing in a band that is making waves around the GTA Music scene as being one of the very best live shows out there! WILDS will be coming to our stage and delivering a really fun, upbeat show that we know our regular music supporters are going to absolutely love! We can’t wait for this one, as WILDS has been highly recommended by some top notch musicians, so we know that they are the real deal! Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door!

WILDS formed in Toronto in 2024, with Alex on guitar and vocals, Andrew on drums, Jozo on the bass. Playing in front of crowds for over a decade, they’ve perfected a night of covers that get everyone singing along, spanning everything from The Killers and Catfish and the Bottlemen to Weezer and The Black Keys, mixed in with the band’s own songs, all carried by the same infectious, high-energy sound that’s become their signature. The choruses are big, the rhythm section doesn’t let up, and the room won’t either.

The Corrados and Jacko Packo Live at the Linsmore Tavern!

Thursday October 15th is going to be and awesome night of original music with some of Toronto’s best up and coming Indie Bands at the Linsmore Tavern! The Corrodes and Jacko Packo will be bringing their original songs and sound to the Linsmore for a co-headlining evening! The show starts at 8pm, there will be a $10 cover charge at the door!

The Corrados are hometown Toronto rock n’ roll. Corrados is a passion project based around the love of early garage rock! Their energetic sound leans heavily on retro, raw garage-rock aesthetics and frequently incorporates driving organ arrangements

Jacko Packo is a band comprised of young Toronto musicians playing mostly the music of Jack Johnston. Jack takes influence from bands such as Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths, and Mac Demarco but also from Jazz Fusion acts such as Weather Report, the Pat Metheny Group and Joni Mitchell’s Shadows and Light band.

We have a really fun night of music coming up on Thursday October 8th! 2 Trick Ponies will be coming to our stage for the very first time and one of our favourite singer/songwriters who has been playing the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) for close to 15 years, Carmen Toth!  2 Trick Ponies will be bringing the heat with a really fun set-list of rockers from the 70s, 80s, and 90s!  The show starts at 7:30pm, don’t miss it!

2 Trick Ponies are a gang of delinquent pub rockers tearing through three decades of hits — the 70s, 80s, and 90s, all in one night. From soulful ballads to full-throttle punk, the setlist swings from Fleetwood Mac to Iron Maiden, Springsteen to Soundgarden, and Steely Dan to Stooges. Not just a one trick pony!

Carmen Toth

Carmen Toth is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter known for her hook-driven power pop, heartfelt storytelling, and retro-influenced sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, and Sheryl Crow, her music blends vulnerability with classic pop-rock grit. Active in the independent music scene since 2003, her first full-length album, ‘Fix the World,’ was released to critical acclaim in October 2025 and is now streaming everywhere. She is currently working on her next album.

We can’t wait for this one! Friday November 13th, the Linsmore Tavern ((1298 Danforth Ave) is so excited to welcome back one of the country’s very best 80’s Cover Band’s who have been tearing it up over the last 12 years, Storm the Palace – Performing 80’s Dance Floor Classics! Storm The Palace put on the show of the summer at the Linsmore to a SOLD-OUT crowd, so we needed to bring this incredible band back as soon as possible! We know a ton of music lovers who really enjoy New Wave, Post Punk, Pop and Dance of the 80’s and there’s no one better than Storm The Palace when it comes to playing that genre! This one is going to be a THE EPIC DANCE PARTY of the Summer! The show starts at 9pm, tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door!

Lots of bands play 80’s covers. No one plays them like Storm The Palace.  For 13 years this band has delivered retro dance classics with unrivalled authenticity and fervor, leaving scorched dance floors in their wake across Ontario.

Since 2013, Storm The Palace have celebrated the beloved
retro-alternative mixed tape hits that defined the times…New Order,
Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, and The Cure… The icons you’d
expect to hear. But you will quickly learn to expect the unexpected
when the band brings to life vintage dance club bass-bin-thumpers from
the likes of Dead Or Alive, Trans-X, OMD, Peter Schilling, Real Life,
and Kon Kan.

Mean Honey Live at the Linsmore Tavern!

This is going to be a fun one! The Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) loves booking bands from the neighborhood and on Thursday November 12th, that is exactly what we are doing as local band, Mean Honey will be returning to play our stage once again! Mean Honey played the Linsmore and absolutely killed it! It was a capacity evening with everyone up and dancing all night!  Get ready for a fun evening of Classic Rock, New Rock Covers with Mean Honey! The show starts at 7:30pm, there’s no cover!

Mean Honey is a band born from friendship, entrepreneurship, and a shared love of rock. A few of them had always wanted to play in a band but never had the chance. Through EO, Entrepreneurs Organization, a small group finally got together, picked up their instruments, and started making some noise.
Their sound leans into the music we love — classic rock with some newer rock in the mix. Mostly, it’s about good songs, good friends, and playing a little louder than they probably should.
