2 incredible original, Toronto based Indie bands will be performing at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) on Thursday October 1st! Black Bird Elementz who are an indie rock, blues and roots band and Food For Powder who are an alternative rock band who also blend the sounds of post punk and gothic will be delivering some great original music on this evening! So music fans, don’t miss out on seeing these two up and coming original bands at the Linsmore! The show starts at 8pm, there’s no cover!
Black Bird Elementz 
Toronto’s Black Bird Elementz blends indie rock with dark melodies, blues roots, new wave influences and raw rock ’n’ roll energy. Formed in 2005, the band has spent more than two decades creating original music and bringing its distinctive sound to stages across Toronto and Ontario. Known for high-energy live shows, they’ve performed at The Opera House, El Mocambo, The Rock Pile, Junction Underground, and The Horseshoe Tavern, with shows across Ontario. Featuring Neb-Nebojsa Stojkovic (vocals and harmonica), Boris Bek (guitar), Jake Dunat (bass), and GM Jesus (drums).
Food For Powder 
Food For Powder is a rock ’n’ roll band drawing from a wide spectrum of influences, including alternative rock, post-punk, gothic and beyond. Their sound brings together different corners of underground rock with plenty of energy and attitude
