Friday September 25th is going to be on fire at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! We know there is a lot of fans of Vintage Punk and SKA, but there are not many bands out there playing this type of music! That’s we are so excited for this one as we are bringing in C.I.D: for a Night of Vintage Punk & Ska with Special Guests SKAtharines! We have been searching high and low for a bands like this and finally we are able to bring them to Toronto and to our stage! C.I.D: The Only Tribute to Vintage Punk will be live and playing all of the vintage Punk Rock from the late 1970s that you love! Tickets for this show are only $10 in advance, $15 at the door! The show starts at 9:30pm, this is going to be so much fun!
Finally, a band comes along that does things different , C.I.D
Is that band. Bringing back a special time – The Golden Era Of Punk. These five gentlemen from different cities came together to bring back the music that brought down the disco craze. Performing songs from the Sex Pistols , the Ramones , the Clash , the Buzzcocks , Forgotten Rebels & many more UK & other late 70’s Punk Bands … they are the only tribute to vintage punk. Everything is there : the energy , the raw guitar , the style & some of the attitude .. Exciting audiences with their outdoor concert every summer “StrummerFest” , they are of late storming through different cities to bring their unique show.
SKAtharines first hit the stage on February 14, 2025. Their goal is to create music and enjoy the dancing that comes with it. Ska is their launching pad, but they mix everything from punk to cumbia, reggae, and rock. They play loud, fast, and together, music made to move bodies. They are SKAtharines—dance’s skar.
