What a night this is going to be! Saturday September 19th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) cannot wait to welcome a new Tribute band and 2 very well-respected Indie bands to our stage for the very first time! Queen of the North – Queen Tribute Band is ready to perform the music from Queen’s Live at Wembley on this Saturday night! Also performing is Pete Kyrie Band who will be bringing their high-octane guitar riffs, whiskey-burnt blues, and straight-up rebellion music that got them featured in Hockey Night in Canada! Rounding out this evening is underground independent instrumental surf rock band, Los Speedos! This is going to be a night you don’t want to miss! The doors open at 8pm, tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door!

Queen of the North is a Toronto-based Queen tribute band dedicated to recreating the power, energy, and theatricality of Queen at their peak. Featuring a five-piece lineup of vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and piano/synth, the band brings the legendary sound of Queen’s Live at Wembley era back to the stage, performing classics such as “Radio Ga Ga,” “I Want to Break Free,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are the Champions.”
After making their debut at Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern, Queen of the North has continued bringing their high-energy Queen experience to stages across the city, with the goal of giving audiences the feeling of seeing one of rock’s greatest bands live.

Pete Kyrie has been chasing the roar of rock & roll for decades — a journey that began in the underground clubs of the ’90s and continues to this day with his powerhouse project, the Pete Kyrie Band or PKB as they are often referred as. Long before fronting his own band, Pete carved out his reputation as the guitarist for the hard-hitting ’90s rock act Sins of Omission, who released their cult-favorite record I Reign in 1996. Known for their raw energy and unpolished edge, the band made its mark on the era with heavy riffs and a take-no-prisoners live show. That period forged Pete’s identity: a guitarist with soul, fire, and a refusal to compromise. Today, Pete brings that same rebel spirit to the PKB — a blues-soaked, southern-tinged rock outfit built on storytelling, grit, and unapologetic live energy. Teaming up with the talented big hitter, Phil Veiga on Drums and the county outlaw Claudio Romano Jr. on Bass, his searing guitar work and weathered voice carry echoes of the past but speak directly to the now: rock music that’s honest, unfiltered, and alive. The band’s sound is equal parts high-octane guitar riffs, whiskey-burnt blues, and straight-up rebellion, channeling the lineage of rock greats while carving its own road. Los Speedos is an underground independent instrumental surf rock band based in Toronto, Ontario. They are prominent fixtures in Ontario’s thriving, niche garage-surf circuit. The group formed to channel the classic 1960s reverb-heavy guitar tones popularized by legends like Dick Dale and The Ventures, but injected with a contemporary, high-energy garage punk edge. True to the classic surf rock aesthetic, their sound focuses heavily on driving rhythms, twangy tremolo-picked guitars, and fast-paced instrumental arrangements.
