Saturday June 17th is going to be a special night at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave), as this will be an evening that is a fundraiser, celebration of life with an incredible live band! The Jewels Band will be hitting our stage performing the best of classic rock spanning from the 70s to the 00s! Also hosting this evening is former Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Marlie Captain, Rich Clune! There will be a $10 cover charge at the door with all proceeds going to support a family in need.
The Jewels Band is bringing some of the best classic rock Top 40 hits from the 70’s to early 00’s to the Linsmore Tavern!! Aerosmith, Bowie, Queen, Bad Company, Tom Petty, STP, Bush, Foo Fighters and Green Day are just some of the bands they’ll be covering. This is a group of musicians from Toronto who have basically grown up on the Danforth most of their lives. They’ve all been a part of various bands for over 20 years all over Toronto. They’re all very good friends coming together to have a great time playing some good ol’rock n roll in support of a good cause for a friend, a brother and a father who has passed. This night is a Celebration Of Life as all the money will be going in support of their good friends family to help out. So everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a great night with good people and some great rock n roll music!!
