Fans of 80’s Post Punk and Brit Rock, you’re going to want mark Friday October 7th down on your calendar, because the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth will be welcoming back for the first time in 3 years, The Queen Is Dead who pays Tribute to The Smiths! The Queen Is Dead have played some incredible shows over the years at the Linsmore always sharing the evening with another band. This time, they will be playing the whole evening and we can’t wait! The show starts at 9:30pm, there will be a $10 cover charge at the door!
The Queen Is Dead are a tribute to the iconic and highly influential Manchester band The Smiths. Based in Toronto, they have been curating and fine tuning a choice selection of material to please any fan of The Smiths. They return to the Linsmore Tavern bringing with them The Smiths brand of poetic and often wry humoured alternative pop rock.
