This is going to be a really cool night and one not to miss! On Friday June 16th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is welcoming for the very first time a Tribute band of the most popular rock band of the 2000’s, X&Y – A Tribute to Coldplay! Featuring some of GTA’s best musicians, get ready for a special evening and precise performance from X&Y! Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door!
Coldplay are a passionate, heart-rending alternative pop group whose sweet melodies and swooning lyrics made them one of the biggest bands of the new millennium.
Performing over 20 years of hit songs and selling out multiple nights in almost every venue they perform at thrilling dedicated fans numbered in the millions.
With a focus on Coldplay’s earlier music, ‘X&Y’ brings the closest sonic and visual performance to the real experience available. It’s all there…the voice, the sound, the songs and the sights.
‘X&Y’ is fronted by Andrew Sansone. With over 20 years as a professional musician and playing multiple instruments Andrew provides audiences of all ages the dynamic and emotional musical experience that you would expect from Chris Martin himself.
The X&Y band members are all professional seasoned musicians from the Greater Toronto area and have played literally 1000’s of shows at various festivals, theatres and live music venues.
